Easy Building
Easy Building® is a circular and biobased building technology developed for affordable sustainable housing in the Global South. The building system is prefab and fully digitalised, using locally sourced timber from sustainably forestry.
What We Do
Countries
Easy Building licenses its construction technology to building partners in the Global South using a license fee model. We are currently licencing our technology to partners in Uganda, Ghana, Mozambique, Kenya and Tanzania.
Research & Development
Easy Building has developed a proprietary building technology. Our system is fully digitalised to ensure high quality. We have developed a range of building typologies that can be used for family homes, (staff) housing in the humanitarian context, and holiday homes.
Impact
Easy Building was founded to disrupt and decarbonise the building industry. Our technology offers a unique combination of impact. Our biobased homes are climate resilient and store CO2. Through integrated supply chains, we enhance local sustainable forestry sectors and create local jobs, while ensuring affordability.
Carbon Removal
An average Easy Home has a net carbon removal of approximately 9 tonnes of CO2 (CRUs) and an estimated substitution of around 6 tonnes (by avoiding cement and steel).
Easy Building is part of a consortium of pioneers that are developing and implementing a construction stored carbon (CSC) methodology. Our carbon removal units (CRUs) will be sold on the ONCRA platform in collaboration with Climate Cleanup.
